Our relaxed, family-run wedding venue offers you a blank canvas, giving you the flexibility to create a theme personalised to you. Our experienced, in-house wedding planners are also on hand to co-ordinate your wedding suppliers as part of the package and will be there in-person on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
wedding barns
Two stunning, interlinked wedding barns; the Rustic Barn which is romantic in character, and the Celebration Barn which is more contemporary in style with enviable views over the Yorkshire Dales. We also offer outdoor seating areas in the Courtyard and Terrace, the Byre as a welcome area, and several stunning backdrops for photographs.
Feast together
We have teamed up with six local, preferred caterers who can provide anything from fish & chips, BBQs and sharing platters, 3-tier afternoon teas and silver service dining… anything is possible! If you already have a caterer in mind, that isn’t a problem either, they will have use of our indoor catering area.
the bar
Our friendly and accommodating in-house bar company, Louisianna’s, provide very reasonably priced, personalised drinks packages, including a bespoke cocktail menu. The bar, which is in the Celebration Barn, includes a good selection of wines, spirits, and draught beer.
hand-picked suppliers
We have a range of hand-picked suppliers should you need help… They all come with our recommendation because we have worked with them before, however, you are more than welcome to use your own suppliers. Our suppliers help to create a wonderful personalised wedding, from selecting your own furniture, to creating a bespoke cocktail menu, to Pedro the Confetti Pony who will provide the confetti for your guests.

Sedgewell Barn is set within 60-acres of rolling countryside in the heart of rural North Yorkshire. Our fabulous venue includes accommodation for yourselves and forty-five guests with eleven deluxe glamping pods, all with private hot tubs, en-suite shower room and kitchen, and The Nest, a luxury wedding suite with private hot tub.
